I would highly recommend Bill’s class whether for the beginning poker player or anyone else. He has the ability to gear his class to the level of your play. In our group we ranged from seasoned players to beginners. Since his class, I have been able to develop a more confident game and am very few players can intimidate me. I am very excited about my future poker prospects. - David Pollack
I’ve played poker for over 10 years, small stakes, live and tournaments, both limit and most recently, no-limit. I especially enjoy tournaments.
While visiting Las Vegas last year, I happened to be seated in a poker tournament next to a player who everyone else seemed to know. Some kind of poker pro? A famous sports hero from the past? Eventually I learned his name was Bill Seymour. He lives in Las Vegas and is a poker coach.
I got his business card because I’d felt for a long time that I my results could be better, but I was missing something. I intended to call him and set up a meeting during my next visit to Las Vegas. I went on-line and did my research and Bill seemed like someone who could teach me points about poker I just wasn’t retaining from books or able to apply at the table.
I finally was able to get back to Vegas in April 2008 and promptly called Bill to set up a class. He agreed to teach a small group including my wife and 3 friends.
Bill arrived at our condo with all his materials and after introductions we got down to work. We were all so pleased with his organization, his manual, and especially his lesson plan. His concepts were presented very
clearly and were easy to follow. There was considerable back and forth discussion, everyone had questios and Bill took his time to answer. Bill’s depth of experience is very apparent and his analysis of poker situations is as exhaustive as I have every come across. He truly is a pro with years of experience under his belt.
Here are some of our group’s results after taking his class: Two weeks after Bill’s class, I played a 144 player $330 NL event at the Venetian Deep Stack Event and split the tournament 6 ways, winning $6,001 ! This is four times higher than any previous cash for me. I then split 1st and 2nd place at the Orleans $105 NL event for $1,500. I have finished deep in two other Orleans tournaments this week.
My wife has very little NL experience, but wanted to try a NL tournament at the Orleans. She’s played twice since Bill’s class and has cashed 6th in the first and deep into the 2nd tournament. My friend, who also took Bill’s class, bought into a $340 super satellite two weeks after Bill’s class and won a seat in a $1,000 event and a seat in a $3,000 event.
